Or, alternatively, if she doesn't deck necessarily Chapman out in full gear that would get him mistaken for a sidekick, the simple fact that Dynamo Girl finally gets some press... there's a lot of ways this could turn into a "pendulum swinging" moment...

With potential plot twists like these, it's no wonder that Eric Burns is the national poet of Scotland.

Or was that Monty Burns?

Could be interesting if this is what gets DG her "big break"... being sighted with a sidekick in tow, inadvertently creating a new trend and redefining what makes someone a hero vs. a sidekick.

Because, obviously, if you're standing there and a sidekick is standing next to you, that makes you the Big Damn Hero.

My thoughts echo those of Peter Venables. I've only dropped by Banter Latte today but its RSS is already on my bookmark bar. I'm still wondering whether to ask for a password because I don't know if I can afford the time to go through the chapters that are already up here.

As for Interviewing Leather, is the hero that looks like a sidekick going to get a sidekick?

Ack, you're right. That will teach me to post without double checking instead of relying on memory...

Late to the party though I may be, I have read all 8 parts of the Interview with Leather so far and I have to say that this is really great stuff!

In a lot of ways this is complementary to the kind of storytelling I am doing with my own major project so seeing the kind of detail you put into this world really astounds and humbles me.

You’re thinking Superheroes, which was also referenced for having a Doctor to Super-heroes story in it for a previous Justice Wing story by Eric.

The character (by Mike Resnick) is Revenant. Currently appearing in Aaron Williams ps238 as the mentor to the non-powered kid…

Stackpole wrote the story with Revenant in it Peer Review.
Resnick was the co-author of the doctor story Super Acorns .

’m thinking of an old (Zelazny was still alive, because he had a new story in the collection) superhero short story book with a story with a batman style hero going up against a whole hero team

Also? do you have super powered therapists? A group of people who help supers deal with things like PTSD.

Unfortunately, the medical profession -- and that includes mental health -- isn't all it could be in the Justice Wing world.

So, this inspires a new question, are there any cross over villains who keep the trappings of villainhood? You know, henchmen and villain style costumes.

Costumes yes, on occasion. Henchmen? Not by name and not via the same support organizations. Some heroes recruit mercenaries or support staff or the like, but it's usually either some kind of supersecret agency or a straight business.
