The characters and story have me quite intrigued by now. I also concur with others that the narrative foreshadowing in the first couple chapters could be toned down a bit. But please, sir, give me more.

I would like to see where the story goes, another vote for continuation. It’s becoming a more interesting as some of the characters become less likeable.

Though not my favorite of the continuing stories so far, I have to agree here: I would rather you didn’t drop it now that it’s starting to pick up steam.

While I’d be inclined to say — were you working to present the work as a whole for publication somewhere, and much as others have mentioned at the time — that the earlier chapters could use some work to ease the front-loading of unexplained narrated foreshadowing, I think that since we’ve gotten into less of that and more actual Doing Of Stuff, it’s been quite good and it’d be a shame to leave it incomplete.

And here’s another voice of support for keeping this story going. The growing conflict between Roderick, Jess and Jack is just getting good. On a side note, I think the foreshadowing works best when it’s at the end of a chapter, as it is here–it breaks up the flow of the narrative less. I was definitely more intrigued by the frame story in this iteration than I had been previously. Hope this helps

You’ve hinted at the broad shape of the story so far, and it looks interesting. So if you can write the rest, please do! Do be so cruel as to leave us wondering!
