There was a period of time in Singapore where they used to give out commemorative ones for like EVERY single event. I had one from a mental hospital... and another from a ladybird show... I used to get into heaps of trouble bringing them to school. Don't know why... Nowadays, I use my phone, though I do have a lovely note from my father that's taped to my bookshelf. It reads and I quote... "Wear a timepiece (aka watch), otherwise 'Time will Slip Away'". Newcomers to my house always comment on it. ^_^ I used to wear a watch, but it gave me a rash. I tied one at one point to my purse. But nowadays... just grabbing the phone and flipping it open and shut seems to do it for me. ^_^ I used to collect pocket watches. But I wanted digital, and a wristwatch was the cheap and easy way to do that. I love my cellphone. Has a time display on the outside so I don't even need to open it, and it's always accurate. Just gotta have the timer and stopwatch. I've had some pretty elaborate models at times, but right now have a Timex Expedition...bare minimum to get what I want. I use my cellphone for calls, that's pretty much it. Oh, and polarization demos, the screen's nice for that.
